Okay, yes, a resounding yes I have right now in my inbox

is a project that for the last three years I had said I would finish. It's a book project with somebody that I really like and really care about and I want to finish the project but 50 million

50 11 other things come up during the course of a day or a week and every

Friday night I say Saturday morning I'm gonna get up and and I'm going to commit to it and then

something else happens and I have not finished that project but yeah I find myself

quite frequently not as much anymore and I'll tell you why in a second but yeah I have a lot of things I haven't

finished and I feel guilty I feel like it's a character flaw I feel like a liar

and it's something that bothers me and I sleep well most nights but when I commit to

doing something and I just physically can't or I don't want to I find that it disturbs my sleep and I hate that because I usually hit the pillow and go to sleep and I don't like to toss in terms.

So this is a problem and I'm sure I'm not alone in it. So I have three suggestions.

Suggestion number one, this is something that I'm actually incorporating,

learn to say no. And it is a learned behavior because we are conditioned to say yes, we are conditioned to people please.

Many of us are conditioned to not let people down.

But the biggest way you let people down is by saying yes and then not following up or following through.

That's way more painful than telling people no.
