This is Karen Hunter and welcome to the hub. What is sin really? I have a kind of heated discussion about this topic with

discussion around the book of revelations and in it I was basically saying

that no that I am not without sin I'm not perfect but what I was saying is that

if people are willfully doing things if they're willfully killing and they're willfully stealing and

destroying and gossiping and things like that, that's sinful. But if your heart is right,

if the heart of a person is to do good and they happen to do something wrong, that's not a sin to me.

And so we actually had a back and forth and I just wanted to have this discussion because I think a lot of people living under the yoke and the bondage of what sin is or what they think sin is based on the Bible and as a result they are not

living their lives I think this life is meant to be lived to make the mistakes

to stumble and fall to get back up and to try different things so that you can determine who you are as a person.

But if you're constantly avoiding doing things because that's a sin and this is a sin and I, you there are actual real sins but even the Bible

makes loopholes so it says thou should not kill but it's really thou should not

murder and cold blood but if you defend yourself and you kill somebody,

are you going to hell for that?

I say no, I say that you're not.
