This is part two of a discussion I had with Pastor Timothy Jones from Bethany Baptist

Church in Newark, New Jersey, about the Book of Revelations.

In part one, he broke down the history and the allegorical nature of the book I actually think it's more

literal. In this part I wanted to explore freedom and I believe that so many people are bound

by religious doctrine, by religious dogma.

I think a lot of people are living their lives based on scripture, not based on what their

purpose is.

And my goal has always been for people to find their true self because I think that that is the key to humanity actually figuring this thing out is people, individuals figuring out why they were here, why they were put on this earth and actually living it through.

But you can't live it through if at every turn you are hitting a brick wall, that you're hitting

some scripture or something that your mama told you, your daddy told you, your pastor told you, my goal is for everyone to find their own way and their own path.

And as I point out in this part, your faith can only grow if it's tested.

So you gotta run out there and make some mistakes, bust your lip,

fall down, fail, and get back up because that's the true way that you, the true measure of a person.
