Baird Stephen means, but as we record this Thursday afternoon, Nathan, we got the last bit of info from Ryan Day with his noon radio show and then a quick lightning round interview with reporters.

What's the latest update? It sounds like there's a little bit of news with Luke Whiplier, correct?

Yeah, so as we said on the Thursday pod, Stephen and I had sort of tried to keep an eye out for him after practice on Wednesday night. We didn't see him either.

We might have just missed him or it's possible he practiced and went to get treatment. I think that's actually maybe the more likely thing before we were allowed in air. But regardless, Ryan Day said he's had a good week that he's been practicing and quote, we should be good there. They're going to continue to evaluate him, but the things that Ryan Day said today make me think Luke Whiplier starts Saturday and start to state.

What is, as we sit here for both of you, what is your final prediction? We'll start with you, Stephen, on Jackson Smith and Jigba for Saturday. Do you think he's out? Do you think he's limited?

What kind of production do you think he might have if he plays? How much will they play him? What's your vibe and info on Jackson?

So he looked like he practiced coming off the field on Wednesday and then was like doing jug stuff afterwards as they've been texted he had like the one sleeve leg sleeve on but that he's been doing that anyway that I don't know if that was an old thing or like that's just a swag thing.

It's just a thing football players do now they get the long sleeve pants and then they cut one of the legs also looks like they have one sleeve. So that's just what he wears.

But I mean, I don't need him this week. So I would lean towards he's not going to play just to give him an extra week to if he's at 95% let him get to 100% and then next week when you're trying to gear back up for the rest of the season, you throw him back in there.

Nathan, what was the vibe with you know Ryan Day talked for an hour on Thursday. I'm sure he talked around the most of Jackson Smith and Jigba stuff. Could you get any vibe on how he talked about it?

Nothing more than what he had said earlier in the week. I think you know that the medical personnel are going to handle it and that he he's the one who said the 100% thing which is I mean at some point in the season a lot of guys aren't 100% they're still playing so.

But I think I lean towards where Steven is I think if he plays I would kind of expect him maybe to like be almost like a Julian Fleming thing last week go through warm ups stretch it out that's almost kind of part of your rehab from an injury I think a little bit is to go through that warm up.

And but if there's any doubt he won't play and if he does play I would I would think it would be limited.

Almost like how he was in the spring game where he played that first series and then we never saw him again.

Yeah I don't know if it would be that limited but it would be that concept.

Okay so we're not expecting a lot of that that obviously influences a little bit how you think about the game.
