Dimitri Symes smiling and advising Richard Nixon. So this reaches back to

Dayton, Rapporteur-Chahn and the end of the Soviet Union.

Dimitri Symes has played some role in public and private in US-Russia relations

since he emigrated from the then Soviet Union in 1973 and found his way

into the inner circle of then President Nixon and sectarian State Henry Kissinger and over the course of those 50

odd years he's become more and more controversial and especially during the

2016 election when he sided heavily with the Trump campaign,

his reputation in Washington began to suffer and then here we are in 2024 and where

after Russia has invaded Ukraine and Dimitri Sons is his wife and his wife are

living in Moscow and he's a broadcaster on Moscow State Television Channel 1.
