Jeff, a very good evening to you. Where are you in San Diego County?

Good evening John. I'm in La Hoya which is a city of town actually.

More toward the north county part of San Diego. It's a beautiful city, very wealthy city, and one of the great parts about it is University of California, San Diego, which is really looked at as one of the country's best universities when it comes to research

and applied technologies.

This is a place for biomedical research, for engineering, biomedical engineering. It really is a fantastic thing. for laureates. It's and it's actually one of the tougher universities here to get

into. It kind of goes under the radar because you get schools like

Stanford and Berkeley and UCLA, but it's up there if not better in some cases than many schools in the US.

And the weather is perfect so let's go to the other perfect city we cover all the time.

Las Vegas for the Vegas report from Pacific Watch. All right now Jeff when last we spoke

hotels are coming down and new hotels are going up and the baseball stadium is going up.

Are there any new additional hotels going up?

There was talked this week of two no hotels getting ready to break ground.

They haven't said where exactly they're going to be, although there are some

remaining footprints around the strip that people point to and say that's got to be the next

place. But they'll be substantial. There's talk that one of them will be a non-gambling hotel which is not

on you it's not typical but it's not unheard of there are a number of other ones like

especially trump is there they have a hotel that's there that's not a casino.

And then they have what they call local hotels.

Another hotels that are enjoyed by the locals there,

casinos actually more than hotels.

The famous Ellis Island, which has been there forever owned by the same guy and that's being rehabilitated. So that should turn out to be quite a nice place. A little bit off the strip, but it's very well known in Vegas.
