podcast. I'm the host Scott Feinberg and my guest today is RuPaul, the most

famous drag queen in the world and now an Emmy nominee in the category of

outstanding host of a Reality Show for his landmark program on logo TV RuPaul's Drag Race, which is now in its eighth season.

Over the course of our conversation, this true original, who is now 55 years old, talks about his personal journey of discovery.

He recounts the struggles that led up to him becoming a controversial household name in the early 90s. He clarifies what drag is and is not.

He explains why he deliberately dropped off the scene during the George W Bush administration
