Christy Jordan asking the musical question, Younger than Springtime, is this a compliment? I figure spring is at least 2013 years old, give or take a few thousand years.

Well, there's a lot to discuss there.

And the first part is that, as you can tell, if you were listening, I didn't say Boy Tenner this week.

I said, Girl Soprano because the fan the listener who wrote in that

question which a good question we get to it in a second though, is named

Christie Jordan. And I and the Colonel thought, gee, it doesn't sound like a boy tenor, it

sounds like a boy tenor, it sounds like a girl tenor, and with Kristen, and the first name

Christy. And that's fine, but there are no girl tenors because the two kinds of voices in a choir of tenor and bass are male voices.

These are male voices for young men, for boys.

That's why the boy tenor phrase is something I just love from

radio shows from the 20s and 30s and 40s. At any rate if if Christie is a young

woman we thought well she can't be a girl tenor how about girl soprano

because the two kinds of women's voices in choirs are soprano and alto and

and so we thought absolutely right, we'll make it a girl soprano. I love saying

boy tenor every week and that's fine. But we liked that question and we like making
