So, you know what's so great about being an entrepreneur is you get to decide what are

the problems you want to solve, how big the addressable market is, how many people you

can serve, how much money you can make, and how big of a business you can build, and

that's not the only part.

You also get to decide what the rules are.

Now, I'm not talking about government stuff and legal stuff.

I'm talking about your rules in business for how you want things to be.

I think about one of my clients, David, who says, hey, look, if the surf is good, I'm

going surfing, and if it isn't, I'm going to go out and some of you know exactly what

I'm talking about.

I'm going to go to my office and make my phone calls.

See, that's his rule.

The surf is only good so many days throughout the year.

I'm going to surf in the morning on those days, and the days that I aren't, I'm going

to go to the office, and I'm going to bust my, you know what, and I'm going to make phone

calls in there.

I'm going to build my business, and last year he did a staggering amount of business.

He understands this is his business.

He gets to decide how big is the temp, how many clients can I surf, what do I need to do

to operationalize around me so I can make it all happen, and then hard charge every single

day following your rules.
