Welcome to Our Henhouse. This is Jasmine Singer. And this is Marianne Sullivan. And this week, Marianne will be speaking with Renee King Sannin and Tommy Sannin, founders of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary in Angleton, Texas. And in addition to telling us

about the sanctuary and their rancher advocacy program, they will be filling us in about the

recently released documentary. And this documentary has gotten quite the acclaim. So it's really great timing and wonderful to see a sanctuary in the spotlight like that.

Yeah, I mean, I imagine a lot of people who are listening might have heard of Rowdy Girl. They have a crazy story. They're such interesting people.

Renee is really, she has a personality that will go for days.

I mean, Tommy has a great personality too, but I think everybody would concede that Renee's sort

of the front person here.

You know, they have this cattle sanctuary in the middle of rural Texas.

Like, who does that?

And yeah, the movie's really good. It premiered at

Hot Docs, which is, you know, the huge documentary film festival. And now it's in that status of

they're showing it around and you have to find out if there are ways to see it. So I'm not sure

that there's a way to see it immediately, but there will be.

And I really just hope it's a huge success because their story really is very compelling.

There's no doubt about it.

And lots of personality, great communicators.
