We're going to continue with our journey through

R.C. Sproles' commentary over Romans chapter 9 that we looked at beginning last, I guess it was Sunday

that I did that recording or Saturday. I can't remember which. It would have been Saturday,

for sure. It was on Saturday afternoon. And we went quite a while. It was over a two-hour video because we're just kind of try to cover a lot of content and a lot of time. And we weren't able to even get through a portion of it, obviously, because I'm a little long-winded. You guys know that. But for those that complain about the long videos, remember, we put out a lot of shorts and there's a lot of options out there for short videos. Look at the playlist under shorts. If you want to see some short bite-sized videos covering much of the same content,

but in bite-sized portions, go there.

This is for our theology geeks that want to really dive into the depth of the best arguments from the other side.

And so, in other words, we're trying to steal man our opponent by looking at the

very best of the best arguments from our Calvinistic friends. In other words, we want to

represent those that we disagree with as best as we can represent them. And what better way to

represent your opponent than to let your opponent speak for themselves in their entirety, looking at their sources.

And so that's what we're striving to do here. Unfortunately, that's very rarely done to us by the leading Calvinist out there, and that's unfortunate.

I hope to set a better example for theological discourse in our world today by saying that we should try to do our best to allow people to speak for themselves, to try to paint their view in the best light possible, but at the same time, standing firmly on what we believe is true. There's nothing wrong with that.

So that's what we're going to strive to do in today's broadcast as we continue through this exposition of Roman chapter 9 from the late R.C. Spruill, who like I've said before, I've had a lot of respect for.
