Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last searchlight program, we began looking at a truth in the Scriptures that seems a bit unsettling.

The portion of Scripture that we are referring to is found in Romans chapter 5.

And in this section, the Apostle Paul is telling us that all of our problems in the world

and in our life are because of the sin of Adam.

And even more than that, death entered the world because of Adam.

At first glance, this doesn't seem fair.

It doesn't seem right that we should suffer because of Adam's sin.

But it will all make sense when we understand the complete picture. So let's now join Pastor John for our teaching as we see this picture develop.

Paul says that by one man sin entered into the world.

Secondly, he says so to death, verse 12 goes on to say,
