It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

We have great news for you today.

The war is over.

What war you say? The war against God. In the book of Romans,

the Apostle Paul tells us that we have peace with God. Well, this may bring up a couple of other questions.

How did this war get started? And how did this war end? For the answers to these questions, let's go ahead and

join Pastor John for our study now in Romans chapter 5. At one time, we were, Paul tells us,

warring against God. At one time, Paul tells us, we were separated from God.

But at this time, Paul tells us, we have peace with God.

And in chapter 5, that's the beginning note of this chapter, which is such a blessing to us,

for it gives us understanding that the war is over.

The separation is ended.

Now we have peace, Paul says in verse one, with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
