Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

Over the past couple of Searchlight programs,

we have been looking at an interesting section of scripture

in Romans chapter 5. In this passage, the Apostle Paul is telling us of the effects of Adam's sin.

So far, we've learned that all sin entered the world because of Adam's sin. We also saw that

all death enter the world because of Adam's sin, and even beyond that,

all condemnation enter the world because of Adam's sin. Now, all this might be confusing and

unsettling, but as we continue to look at what Paul said, it will begin to make sense. With our study,

here now is Pastor John. Paul here makes that point

theologically. Because of one man's sin, all are condemned. Man, listen, get it, remember it, don't give ground

on this point. Man is not a sinner because he sins. He sins

because he was born a sinner. And why was he born a sinner? Because of Adams blowing it in the

Garden of Eden. And anyone in here who's a parent knows the reality,
