Summary
From the Vault
Originally published in July 2019 this conversation with Rochelle Humes is one so many listeners emailed me about; enjoying Rochelle's positivity, resilience and perspective.
Rochelle Humes is a TV Presenter, Author and Entrepreneur who joined me on the podcast to talk about how she has navigated a career in the entertainment industry since the age of 10.
From a childhood spent on the stage in the West End to years spent topping the charts, first in SClub Juniors and then The Saturdays, Rochelle is now one of the UK’s famous faces.
In this conversation @rochellehumes and I discuss:
- Working and being in entertainment industry from the age of 10.
- Having a hunger for a career and why being strong-willed helped her achieve her goals even at a young age.
- Why it’s okay to have more than one passion in life.
- Why it’s important to set goals and how not to lose momentum when you reach them.
- How she has followed her gut instinct even when it went against the prevailing advice.
- Why doing what you ‘should’ be doing can be a step in the wrong direction.
- How knowing what your priorities are and setting boundaries make life a lot easier.
- Applying ’The Secret’ and using visualisation to know what you want in life.
- Why it’s so important to be your authentic self to channel your inner confidence.
