And today we get to talk to one of your newest Seahawks, Elijah Royo, the second round pick, the tight end, who is a rising rookie for this team.

Elijah, how are you doing, man?

I'm doing good.

How about you?

Doing well.

It's great to finally get a chance to check in.

You had your first padded practice yesterday.

How are you feeling after hitting with the pads?

I feel great. It was a really good day of competition. A lot to learn from and we still got a long

ways to go. Yeah, I bet there's a lot of guys in there getting a little more treatment today than

the previous few days. I mean, yeah, you got to make sure you're taking care of your body for sure. So, you know,

for people that haven't had a chance to see you play yet and know what kind of player you are,

how would you describe, if someone had asked, like, what kind of players, Liza O'Royo? How would

you describe yourself? I feel like I'm just a player that can do it all, really.

Well, you know, you've been making a bunch of plays throughout training camp so far.

One thing I noticed is, you know, your ability to catch outside your frame is just natural for you. You can reach over outside anywhere and you pluck the ball pretty effortlessly.

Is that something that's always been with you?

It's something you worked on.
