Today is going to be the second appearance of Rex Eurman, the alleged, the arrested Long Island serial killer, right now being charged

with the murders of three women. He's expected to have a hearing today at 2 p.m. As you can imagine,

it's probably a media circus out there.

So he's charged with killing three women and burying their bodies near Gilgo Beach on Long Island.

A case, obviously, that had authorities unable or unwilling or whatever. They were unable to find this serial killer who's been at large probably since 2007

this all again he was arrested on july 13th um it's unclear what's going to be discussed at this hearing

today it's being called me according to the New York Times, as merely a conference.

The Suffolk County District Attorney and Michael Brown, Mr. Uelman's lawyer, they will be facing

each other in court today.

Mr. Uerman, of course, was charged last month with three counts of first-degree murder

and three counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Ambulin Castello,

Melissa Bartellame, and Megan Waterman.

Rex Ewerman has pleaded not guilty, and he will be prosecuted by the Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.

The case began in 2010 with the retrieval of four female bodies on a desolate stretch of Ocean Parkway near Gilgo Beach.

It was only the first of several grizzly discoveries in all remains of nine women, a man, and a toddler were found in the area. From the very beginning, the former women whose bodies were retrieved

were known to the public as sex workers. Rex Ewerman, an architect, seemed to, from what they've uncovered of his life, led a dual life,

a double life, if you will.
