A father decided it was time to teach his 10-year-old

son about becoming a man. He looked his son in the eyes and said, son, before the end of

today, you need to make $5. The boy was shocked. Dad, I'm only 10. How am I supposed to make $5?

The father repeated and then went to work.

The boy ran to his mother, Mom, Dad says I have to make $5 today.

His mother, wanting to protect him, handed him $5.

Here, honey, just tell your dad that you made it.

That evening, the father asked, son, did you make your $5 today? Yes,

dad, I did. The boy replied proudly. Without a word, the father took the $5,

walked to the fireplace, and threw the money into the flames. The boy ran, crying to his

mother, who confronted her husband, what is wrong with you? He responded calmly. The reason you're more upset than him
