Well, this is going to be fun. So I want to start with a big picture for our audience and listeners.

Why keto? For those of you who don't know and everybody's probably heard of keto, give us the basics. Why should we even consider a ketogenic diet?

It's a great question and it's one that I never considered personally until a couple of years ago, about three years ago, when my body had gotten to a place where the inflammation I was experiencing was starting to really impact my day.

I mean, I have suffered throughout my life through different autoimmune disorders such as eczema and I have to always be very careful about the foods that I would eat.

And now that I'm in my mid-40s, I got to that place where literally I'd wake up in the morning and my joints would be hurting.

I would have stomach upset and I've been in the health and wellness industry for my entire career. So I had to do something and it had to be extreme.
