Even though I'm not a big fan of true retirement, I do think that we've got to be financially

prepared for that reality and it looks like Americans are not.

America, like as much problems it has, it's still one of the most amazing times to be alive.

And while there's real problems to be solved when it comes to inflation and the

Fed and the rates and expenses and college tuition, we forget that we have agency over the choices

we make. We have autonomy and how we spend our own money. I think the problem is the American dream is a little bit more accessible than it should be.

We've created a shortcut to it through debt.

Yeah.

Because now I can have that house in the car, but I don't really have it.

The lender owns it all.

The bank owns it.

I believe the difference between upper class

and middle class is not income.

I think it's the mindset about money period.

What's a number that you would like most Americans to retire?

You're gonna need a million dollars to have a 30 plus year retirement.

So that's number's not inflated.

So you think 1 million is the baseline.

The more income you have and the better things you do with it, the better off you're going to be,

and the more you can take care of your family and the ones that come after you.
