What so many laity in the church don't realize is that they have been targeted by organizations

and front groups that look like they are normal Christian organizations, but these are actually

astroturfed groups. Megan Basham of the Daily Wire talking about her presentation at this year's

issues, et cetera, making the case conference.

They are trying to move Christians on issues that are biblically debatable, some things like

climate change or what our immigration policy should be, but then also even on issues that are

not biblically debatable, marriage and the family, the roles of men and women, even gender and what God tells us about how we were made, male and female.

The idea that motherhood is so hard and so exhausting and so taxing, it creates this anti-child dynamic

in our society.

A lot of churches kind of, you know, what they present on a regular basis to their congregations

is sort of what Christians believe, but they don't really focus on the why we believe it.

And as I look at the book of Acts,

I mean, everywhere the apostles are going,

they're focusing on the what and the why.

I like Esther because I think it speaks

to a modern secular society and says to us,

don't forget, God is in control,

even at times when you may not be seeing

how he is in control or even thinking about how he is in control, yet he still is in control.
