| 0:22.3 | a quick prayer, kind of more out of habit than anything, asking for guidance and making the right |
| 0:27.4 | decision and then we left the house to go get our new car. But after a few steps into the garage, |
| 0:33.0 | I had a sinking feeling in my stomach that I recognized as a no from the spirit. I stopped walking |
| 0:39.4 | and I just told my husband, this isn't right. We're not supposed to buy this car. My husband looked at me |
| 0:44.8 | curiously and he said, okay. And we walked back inside and let the seller know we wouldn't be buying the car. |
| 0:51.0 | The Lord said, in Doctrine and Covenants6, verse 32, let him that is ignorant learn wisdom |
| 0:56.8 | by humbling himself and calling upon the Lord his God, that his eyes may be opened that he may see, |
| 1:02.7 | and his ears opened that he may hear. Even though my husband and I had done a lot of work |
| 1:07.9 | researching cars on the horizontal plane of life. |
| 1:11.4 | Our request for help along the vertical plane to God provided the spiritual nudge about what |
| 1:16.8 | choice to make. |
| 1:18.4 | God wants us to do research on the horizontal plane. |
| 1:20.6 | He wants us to learn and understand our options as well as we can. |
| 1:24.1 | But he also wants us to turn to him to approach the vertical plane of revelation for confirmation of those choices.
