Summary

In this rerelease episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Avery shares the story of her abusive marriage and the years she spent trying to make sense of a relationship filled with lies, infidelity, triangulation, and circular conversations. 1:08.1	Avery's story, I get a lot of people asking me how the show got started. And the truth is, I kind of stumbled upon it when a friend and I sat down and she started telling me about the abusive relationship that she went through.
1:15.2	We hit the record button and put it out into the world.
1:18.9	And then someone emailed me and said that it helped them.
1:21.9	And from there, we started getting messages from others who had been through similar things and wanted to share their stories to help
1:27.8	others too.
1:28.8	This show has become a platform for Survivor Voices, and it's become a community.
1:34.6	We help validate and learn and grow, and we also talk about things that society really
1:39.5	isn't taking a look at what they don't want to look at.
