Look, I talk, it's duckling trees, it's Nathan Beard, it's Steven Needs, and we are revisiting our influence rankings from before the season where Nathan, Steven and I rated each Ohio State player like the top 35 guys on a scale of 1 to 20 in the category of special how rare is your talent and then value how important are you to the team and then we also asked our tech subscribers to give all the players a 1 to 10 rating that's kind of like a Q rating

how good you think they are, how much you like them, how important they are to you to the team, kind of whatever you want. We added all that together, so 50 point rating scale. So we did the same, it's the same structure that we did in the preseason that we did now, we're not going to dive into all the individual rankings here Nathan, because the main point is, here's what the three of us thought before the season plus loyal hard core Ohio State fans,

they thought this about players, and now here are our top 25 in the preseason, and here are our top 25 now, and there is, I guess we should not be surprised Nathan, there is some dramatic movement here like I, of course, I think we all realize that right.

Yeah, I did not go back and look at my preseason rankings, I use the same scale that I did, but it was very much a off the cuff, just quick, impulsive score, kind of that I gave a lot of these guys, and even considering that, I'm sure that there are, I can name three or four guys off the top of my head, where I imagine my score is wildly different than where I, because the first time I sent you these scores was from the hospital,

the hospital room, as my son was about to be born at the end of April, so it's been a minute, it's been a minute, since it's been it, so the things have changed dramatically in a couple of examples since the end of April.

So that's the idea here, Steven, is to zero in on what changed, we're going to do our top 25, Stephen, of the current top 10 players, the way we did this.

So how many of those 10 do you think are were also in the top 10 in the preseason? How many of the 10?

Six.

That's exactly right. Six of the 10 remained the same, of the guys now Nathan, who are in the top 25 now, how many of them do you think were not in the top 25 in the preseason?

Eight.

It's only four.

So there's only four guys who fell out of our top 25 and four guys who joined our top 25.

If you were not in the top 25, I just gave you, I just pretended you're ranking was 26, I have it, I have who's 29th and 31st, but I didn't go bother to check that.

So using that standard, who do you guys think is the highest riser who moved up the most number of spots, right?

That if you were out of the top 25 and now you're 20th, I would say you moved up six spots because you moved from 20 a tie for 26 to 20th.

Nathan and Steve and each make a guess who do you think is the, they're actually two guys who were tied.

The highest risers in this ranking, they moved this many spots.
