this season of your life going? I'm back with another replay episode and this time it's from the early 100s episode

114 have I outgrown my friendship I originally recorded this as part of a

series of episodes that I did on the topic of

friendship because I was receiving so many messages from people with questions and

stories that featured their struggles with friendship that often echoed some of what they grappled with in their romantic and familial relationships.

I thought this was a good time to re-share the episode because we've been through two and a half years of a pandemic and that has

caused a great deal of disruption and some people have found themselves feeling that they

have outgrown their friendships or that others have

outgrown the friendship with them.

At the time when I recorded the episode, I had just got back home from Dublin where I had been

at the funeral of a childhood friend's mother.

And part of that experience had reminded me about how actually we've been friends for

well over 30 years and our friendship was ebbed and flowed and

were not in touch all the time and it would be easy to assume without growing each

other when actually we're very much ride or die friends and so that's where I

jump into this episode from. Enjoy.

As I was thinking about this episode and preparing for it, I was laughing to myself about myself my friend.

So as I said, we've been friends for 31 years.

We don't speak all the time, but we are like ride or die friends.
