And now he is the minority leader from Bakersfield, California, husband to a beautiful wife named Judy and father of two children.

You are you are kind to say that. Thank you and I imagine part of the reason you say that is because I speak so glowingly about you in the book.

Well I thought it was a very authentic and truthful book.

That's why I love this so much.

Oh, if I knew anything bad about you, I would probably, I still wouldn't put it in a book,

but I don't know anything about you. You are, whatever image I had of members of Congress

before I got there, it was not you. You are one of the most normal, affable, likable. You know, Kevin, I teach a class at

Walford and I start off by telling them if you want to go into politics, you have to be a likable person and you are the reason that I say that.

I was there, you were the most popular member of Congress.

Well, can you come to my district and tell those people who don't see the same way as you explain that to?

You know, this is the only occupation on a given day every two years, you get to know the number of people who support you and the number of people who don't support you.
