I got to tell you, it is gorgeous here today. Colorado is really showing off. There's not a cloud in the sky. It is just just sunny and beautiful i think it's going to be like

75 today which is insane for april i mean i'm sure we'll have snow like next week but i'm going to soak

in the day it has just been the nicest little stretch of weather i can even hear the birds

singing outside my window right now.

Is that not like the best sound in the entire world yesterday morning? It was nice as well.

I got up early. I had coffee out on our back patio. It wasn't windy. It was just so nice.

I just sat there and listened to the birds sing. And just that alone just makes me so happy i love when they when they have

a little song and they're chirping and it was just nonstop it was like a whole choir of birds just

singing and happy as they can be and that is one of the simple joys of life i'm telling you right now

it makes me so happy. There's actually

research. I was listening to a podcast months back. I can't remember which one it was now,

but they were talking about there's research that says, this is so random, but research that says

that the song or the sound of bird singing is proven to make you feel happier for like eight hours or something

afterwards. So you know what I did? I went on Amazon and I ordered one of those old school

bird clocks, you know, like the one your grandma had hanging in her kitchen. And on the hour,

every hour, it plays a different song of a bird, you know, like three o'clock. I can't remember what it is,

but at three o'clock, like a certain bird does its little song. And it's just the most

wonderful little addition to May Day. I think the clock was like 20 bucks. And it was worth

every penny. I'm telling you, it is so nice. I just enjoy it so much. And it doesn't go off at night. I've had people

ask me that because I have talked about the bird clock probably way more than I should. But it

doesn't go off at night. There's a light sensor on it. So when it's dark, you know, the birds go to

sleep. But yeah, it's just wonderful. I just love, love, love that sound of bird singing.
