So as you get ready to settle yourself down today, I want to share with you what I've shared

with you over the past two episodes and that is an acronym called

Stop S T O P that helps you to manage a crisis in the moment.

And the first letter, S stands for to start to notice your breath.

And your breath is interconnected with your emotional state.

When you calm your breath,

you calm your emotions.

The next letter T is to take note,

take note of your experience in this moment. Notice what you're thinking and what you're feeling.

Notice what you are doing in this moment.

And begin to notice the emotions you are experiencing.

The next letter O is open up. Open up and begin to notice your feelings and breathe into them. Allow yourself to experience whatever you're feeling

in this moment, not dragging yourself deeply into the emotion, but rather allowing the emotion to evolve,

noticing how you're feeling, and then honoring how you're feeling.

So many times, it's all too easy to be in denial about how you're truly feeling.

You may even feel as though you just don't have time to take note of your emotions because you're so busy and distracted. So today, focus on opening up. As you settle yourself down and get ready to meditate, allow space for your emotions.
