Today's talk comes from Pastor Louis Giglio.

We're going to turn back a little bit today to 50 A.D.

The church had just been born.

Paul, the apostle, was spreading the gospel story of Jesus throughout Asia Minor.

He'd been in places like Philippi and Desalanaika and Berea.

And then he'd come to Athens and he had been invited by the Supreme Council of Athens

to come and speak to them on a little outcropping below the acropolis called Mars Hill.

And when he arrived to this group of leaders,

and probably what was maybe the most intellectually and philosophically sophisticated city on the planet at that time,

he had the opportunity to get on the mic.

And when Paul got the opportunity among this leading council of Athens to be on the mic for a moment,

when they gave him the floor and said,

we've heard you've been teaching in the synagogue, in the marketplace,

and people are buzzing around about what you've been saying.

So tell us what had you come to say.

Paul did something miraculous and he preached something that's close to about a one-year-old

and he's about a one-minute and forty-six second sermon.

I say miraculous because that's miraculous.

And you can laugh or amen, whichever you want to do, would be accepted.
