Tonight we're going to be in Luke chapter 10 and if you've got a copy of the

scriptures I'd just encourage you to go ahead and just find your way there and

just kind of hold your place and we're gonna we're gonna get to that in just a

moment. But this last week's been pretty amazing for me. I got to go back home to

Kentucky where I'm from to Louisville. I got to see my parents, my parents still

live in the same house that I grew up in. They lived there nearly 30 years. The

house actually sets just about 500 feet from my dad's family farm that he grew up

on so that's his home and got to be back there. Went there Thursday night

because my team, the University of Louisville, I had a little football game on

Thursday night. We played Florida State and that went really great for a half.

And then it got really bad really fast and but it was great to be back there.

But I was reminded that it really doesn't matter how the football game went on

Thursday night because in Kentucky we use football to get in shape for basketball

season. Football just kind of takes up space between August and like

November. And really right about now we start to lose interest in football

because basketball season is cranking up and the wild cats are ranked number one

and the cards are ranked number eight and so we're pretty optimistic about what's

gonna happen this year in the Bluegrass state. And so I was just reminded that

that's that's kind of where I'm from and that's what it's all about. And in

Kentucky when you're a young boy and you're born in Kentucky they do a couple

things. They put a basketball in your hand and a bottle in your hand and one
