So we have three anchors at Passion City Church. We may have a few more, but these are the three that we talk about the most. They are the glory of God, radical grace and extravagant worship. Now, we could have just said grace because grace is a nice and kind word, but grace in God's economy is a crazy thing. Human grace is, I have compassion on you and I want to help you. Human grace is you look

like you're in need and I could do something to meet that need and I'm going to do that. But Jesus' grace is

love your enemies and bless those who curse you. And we say, why would I want to do that?

And he said, man, I'm glad I didn't ask that question.

Because you were the enemies of God and you actually at some point in your life have gone your own way from God.

But the grace of God didn't say, you know, they're pretty good people.

They're doing really good. And there's a need that we can meet. The grace of God said, love your enemies and bless those

who curse you. And even into a hostile world, Jesus came. He came sovereignly knowing that he was going

to be crucified, and he still came. He came knowing that a thief on the he was going to be crucified and he still came. He came knowing

that a thief on the cross was going to shout him down in his last breathing moments and he still

came. He came knowing that some people were going to walk away and say, you know what, I've heard it

all, I've seen it all. Thank you very much for all of your effort to love me to enter humanity,

to die on a cross, to exchange your life, to make a way for me to have life. Thank you for doing all

of that. No, thank you. And he still came. Because the grace of God is a radical grace. It's not human compassion.

It's the extraordinary love of God in motion

in a way that you and I really grapple with even to this day.

And today I hope that the radical grace of God will land on us

so that the extravagant worship of the church will erupt from us.

And they are inextricably linked together forever.

And there will never be true and extraordinary and extravagant worship from a heart that has not seen and understood and

believed and received the complete and total revolutionary grace of God in the person of Jesus Christ.
