| 0:15.4 | I'm going to share with you a simple meditation technique you can do as you meditate and also |
| 0:23.6 | that you can do as you go throughout your day to help you release fear, despair and sadness. |
| 0:37.8 | The technique I'll share with you is a mudra and mudras are a way you position your hands |
| 0:46.7 | that is thought to stimulate a corresponding region of your brain. |
| 0:54.5 | There are a lot of nerve endings on your hands and fingers. |
| 1:00.4 | And so mudras, which have been around for over 5,000 years, are a classic meditation technique. |
| 1:12.1 | You're often referred to as yoga in your hands because they work as a similar way as |
| 1:19.1 | yoga or acupressure. |
| 1:22.2 | So I invite you now to go ahead and try this mudra where you fold your thumbs into your |
| 1:32.0 | palms doing this with both of your hands. |
| 1:35.9 | So fold your thumbs down into your palms doing this with each hand and now fold your fingers |
| 1:44.6 | down over your thumbs. |
| 1:46.7 | So it looks like your thumb is tucked into your fingers. |
| 1:51.6 | You can rest your hands on your knees or on your lap whatever feels most comfortable |
| 1:57.0 | and you can hold this mudra for 5 to 15 minutes at a time, several times a day if you |
| 2:04.5 | like. |
| 2:06.0 | When you place your hands in this mudra, it's called the C mudra, it's TSE, the C mudra. |
| 2:15.0 | It's stimulating a response to release, worry, fear, sadness and despair. |
