I'm Mary Meckley and I honor you for being right where you are. You are getting ready to embark on one of the most important things you could do for yourself all day long as you get ready to meditate.

0:27.0

You are guided on a theme this week. That is by popular request and this is from Marlene all the way from Cape Town South Africa who prompted me to do this theme this week and that is processing negative news. We all deal with that these days and in today's

0:51.7

episode I'll guide you with insight to help you as you explore the

0:58.1

theme and then I'll guide you with a meditation technique exclusively to help you deal with negative news.

1:07.6

And your technique for today, every day three of a series is a breathing technique so I'll help you breathe through

come away from our conversations so frazzled and you might experience this with your loved ones as well.

2:26.4

And I want to share with you that what often doesn't help,

2:33.3

because I tried this just the other day

2:36.0

with my circle of friends who were really fervently engaged in this deep negative conversation.

2:50.0

And it was in the morning, and I said, I don't really want to start my morning on this negative note.

2:57.0

Let's talk about something positive.

2:59.0

Well, I can tell you that that was not really a great response to their conversation because they were so emotionally engaged in what they were talking about, that they all glared at me.

3:16.4

They more than glared at me.

3:18.2

Like I really got their point that that was not the right thing to say. So sometimes you might want to

3:28.0

keep your negative news filter, that's your challenge for this week you might want to keep that
