So Bob, big surprise. I have a bunch of emails from patrons that we can read and answer. What do you say?

0:05.4

I say it's really cool that people actually want to write us and ask questions.

0:10.4

Yeah. This first email from patron Alexis who you pulled up on stage during the live show a couple

0:16.6

years ago and did your thing. Oh Alexis, I'm so sorry. Why you so sorry? Because I backed her up

0:23.6

against a wall and she's I'm pretty tall and she's not that tall and I just felt like I was hulking

0:29.2

over her. It's embarrassing. I've already apologized to her. I still cringed though.

0:35.8

Well, yeah, maybe the listeners who weren't there a couple years ago at the live show might

0:40.4

need some explanation. So I asked you to do a segment during the live show and you thought,

0:47.1

well, I'll do a DBT thing and something that you do in your class and you came up on stage and

0:54.2

you asked for volunteer and Alexis volunteered. Yeah. And there was a rope involved. Tell us

0:59.7

what happened. Well, well, the thing is interesting. If you ever put your hand up to somebody else's

1:04.8

hand, right? And you say, you know, you touch your palms, you know, whatever. And you push,

1:11.2

they'll push back. In fact, they'll push back and they'll they'll meet you with the exact force

1:15.1

that you're and they'll you'll get into home you stasis. You'll get into. Yeah. You know,

1:19.2

if you push harder, they actually push harder. And the point is is about it's kind of like

1:25.3

you have a natural tendency to meet force with force. And it isn't just physical. It's also like

1:30.8

interpersonal, emotional, whatever. So the exercise was one in demonstrating that, but Alexis is the

1:39.2

only person I've ever done this with who when I pushed just allowed herself to be pushed

1:44.3

backwards. And so I ended up pushing her across a pretty big room up against. And you were hoping

1:51.6

she would push back. I was thinking she would because I've done this many, many, many, many times.

1:56.2

And but after she pushed this back, then you were going to do what? Well, the idea is to demonstrate

2:01.8

that we meet force with force that we don't blend with it is basically a keto. Yeah. You're trying
