succession of lives so that when we die in one body, we're reborn in another.

This belief, known as reincarnation, is found in multiple world religions,

including major ones like Hinduism and Buddhism.

It's also believed by various tribal peoples around the world and even by some individuals in

the Christian West. But in the 20th century, parapsychologists started studying reports of

reincarnation from a scientific rather than a religious perspective.

One of the most famous researchers was psychiatrist Ian Stevenson.

So what have parapsychologists found about cases of their reincarnation type?

Is there any evidence that something paranormal might be going on in these cases?

And what could possibly explain their findings?
