and this is Hello Monday, our show about the changing nature of work

and how that work is changing us.

So I've heard from a lot of people recently who are between jobs. They're

asking for advice, thoughts, and in the past one of the first things I'd recommend

would be networking. Go to a professional event, buy someone a cup of coffee, it's a great way to learn about new opportunities.

But you can't really do most of those things right now. And even if you could, the things people have

to offer are just much less tangible.

So many companies aren't hiring.

So it begs a question.

How do we network now?
