Welcome back. We've got our buddy Nick Delgadoio on the podcast again today. Nick and I just finished the starting strength Jim's conference. It was the second one that we've ever done during the conference. Nick gave a presentation about rehab. So for those of you that are interested in learning how to address little nagging issues that pop up during training, if you just want to learn more about the topic, if you're a coach, an aspiring coach, this might be an informative discussion for you.

So, Nick, let's start with the context. What are we talking about here?

Yeah, and you just made the big mistake, man, because remember at the beginning of the talk,

the first point I made was that we actually don't do rehab, right?

So we're actually not qualified to do rehab, right?

And when we were talking at the conference, a big part of the focus initially of this talk was,

what is it that we actually do?

And I had everybody kind of explained to me what a coach, a starting strength coach

or a coach at a gym actually does.

And people typically say things like we do starting strength, we are strength coaches,

You know, then people say like magical things like we change people's lives and all that

But, um, and that's, that's cute.

But, you know, what it comes down to is we're what we promise is improve performance, right?

And as starting strength coaches, uh, and as coaches who use starting strength,

uh, improving performance means getting stronger.

Because in almost every activity that we care about, getting stronger is going to improve your performance.
