Every time Ava and I are out, she always asks me the question, as we're leaving, do you have your phone?

This started earlier this summer as we were getting off of a plane.

I was wearing my Shocks headphones listening to a podcast.

The plane landed. My Shocks headphones were still on.

I gathered up all my things. We were sitting two or three rows from the very back.

Finally, we get off the plane and I've got my Shocks headphones on. And because they sit behind my ear, I can, you know, could

talk and I wasn't listening to anything. But then about midway up the gangway, I hear this little

beep beep in my Shocks headphones, which indicates I'm now out of range from my phone

because they were connected to my phone via Bluetooth and suddenly it occurred to me, oh no,

and I checked my pockets and my backpack, I don't have my phone.

And I turned around, went back to the plane,

and of course the flight attendant would not let me on

because once you're off, you can't get back on.

And I said, I think I left my phone.

She said, what row were you sitting in?

It was row 28.

Of course, by this point, just about everybody was off the plane.

The flight attendant walked slowly to the back of the plane the whole time I'm in panic mode.

And she leans down, I could see her lean down to where i was sitting and then she leans back up and

she holds up my phone and was like oh and the whole way through that airport i was thinking
