Our preview of the Atlantic Division has hit these final two teams,

and these are two teams that will not be good this year.

So I apologize for the subject, but we had to do it as we get you ready for the new hockey season.

And J.J. Regan, if you look at the Detroit Red Wings, this is a proud franchise that is on some hard

times, but they've got a lot of really good young players. I think you can start seeing a light

at the end of the tunnel for the wings. You can see the way out of this for Detroit, and that is

good news for one of the best hockey markets in the country.

So it's good to see that hopefully Detroit is going to be a relevant team again soon, but just not this year.

Just not this year.

That's the battle cry for Ottawa senators as well.

Brian McNally, as you look at Ottawa and think that team was that close to the Stanley Cup,

not that long ago.

I mean, yeah.

Just two, three years ago, they were right there, double overtime, had a shot at the making

the cup final.

Now, and since then, 10 to 12 tire fire stories that would be like the worst story of

one team season, they've had like eight or ten of them.

I mean, it's just ridiculous what has gone on with that organization.

To their credit, they seem to have burned everything to the ground and there's nowhere to go

but up.

So, you know, the senators have a couple of nice young pieces, and they got to add a whole bunch more to hope to be contenders anytime soon.
