We've seen what playoff losses can do to a team in a hangover type effect. Brian McNally,

the Boston Bruins are going to have a supreme hangover after blowing their chance at home to win a Stanley Cup.

We saw it with the caps when they lost to the Penguins two straight years here in the second round,

but you're topping yourself when you're losing at home, game seven, home ice to the St. Louis Blues.

Brutal for the Bruins is going to be, as Barry Trots used to say, a grieving period for them.

And we'll see if they can bounce back. There's some age on that team as well.

So it's going to be an interesting year in Boston to see if they can shake off a devastating loss like that.

And JJ Regan, the Buffalo Sabres.

This team is a cautionary tale that we've seen in sports many times of paying your best players just because they're your best players.

And so now this is a team that doesn't stack up against the rest of the teams in their division and has no money to spend and seemingly no way out of this hole.
