It was about a year and a half ago when the doctors finally told me I had to have a biopsy.

I didn't know the biopsy would be one of the worst experiences in my life.

I hope very soon a technology is created where they don't have to invade your body to find

out there's something wrong with you.

But wouldn't it be great if there was a way of doing a biopsy on the human soul?

You could know whether your heart was in the right kind of condition.

And I started thinking about how we've actually created that technology without knowing it.

It's called the Internet.

You ever noticed how the Internet can be a really dark place to go?

And how it brings out the worst in us and in fact we're talking so much now as a culture

about the problems with the Internet and how it means people can be on the Internet

and how violent people can be on the Internet and how aggressive they can be on the Internet.

And so we keep saying the Internet's the problem.

The Internet is not guilty.

The Internet is neutral.

The Internet is simply the biopsy of the human soul.

It's just giving us a context where what's inside of us is now pulled out of us and it goes public.

And last week I said what I thought was one of the most innocuous tweets.
