Welcome to the high and low podcast. This is your host Bravo Bravo, Bravo, Ducking, Bravo. And we are going to recap The Valley. I'm so looking forward to this. It has been a crazy week. I'm completely behind on podcast because I went out of town for the weekend and we are flying back and our flight got delayed over and over and over again until it was like midnight when we got home. So it's just been a game of catch up since. It has taken me some effort, I would say, to avoid any spoilers about this episode of the Valley. I know some people love a spoiler when it comes to Bravo shows. I do not. I want to experience it in the moment. I made the mistake of opening my Instagram,

and I saw just a flood of Valley Post. Like, can you believe? Did you see? Oh my God? And I just

close it right out. No. So watching the Valley, watching Atlanta, have thoughts on that. Also, though,

also, also, I'm watching the Karen Reid trial. And I feel like I need to just do a recap pod about what's going on

because I covered Karen Reed loosely back when it was happening. Certainly not a diehard Karen Reid

coverage account because that could be your entire podcast. If you are really covering the Karen

read trial, that could be the only thing that you talk about. And that might drive me to madness

just because of the nature of the case and how I get also. So I'm just going to take a look at

everything, make sure I didn't miss anything, and maybe just do a general recap on it went to trial

again, and here's how that's been going. Also, I think it's official. I think I have to do a part 18 of it ends with us. I know.

There's been too much. They really brought it upon themselves. The 100 most influential people of 2025, question mark. She stands up and tells a story about her mother. Mother's sitting right there. And she's like, should I stand? She's like, no, stay seated. Hold my hand. And she tells the story and it has nothing to do about the thing that she's alluding that it has something to do with.

And then her write-up in it, they're talking about an N-A-CP contribution. Why did they make the contribution? We're just going to skip over that? It was because of the plantation wedding backlash. Anyway, I have to do the part 18. It's necessary. But for the moment, let's just recap the valley and hope that it's not as traumatic and actually quite alarming and devastating as it was last week. And just for the record, I think that the Valley would thrive as a show, would do great as a show without Jacks Taylor. He does not need to be there. I know he thinks he needs to be there. We can all tell that he thinks he needs to be there. He doesn't. So I hope my fingers are crossed that these episodes where he has gone to seek treatment, that they are just a nice, calm, chill, funny, good time. Let's see if they will let us just have a good time on the Valley. This is Season 2, Episode 3, The Billionaire and the Boys chat. Boys. So we're doing vignettes. We're checking in on people. We see Britney. She's watching crews swim, telling me he's such a good swimmer. And he is. And he's so happy, and that's nice to see. And then we cut over. We see Danny and Nia. And they show, you know, they do them dirty. Because they show a closet with stuff just spilling out. Absolutely makes them more relatable. We all get it. We were all there.

Maybe some of us are still there. We got a bunch of little kids. Halas doesn't have enough

space. They're doing their best. Then Luke is dropping the bomb on the group, telling them that

Jacks admitted himself into rehab. And their reaction is like, Jasmine is shocked. Zack is shocked.

Everyone's like, I have, what, what?

But here's the thing is when you say rehab like that, it makes me think, and I think it's probably

making them think too. Oh, he's going to seek help for substance abuse. But if you read the fine print

of what Jack said he's actually going to do, he said he was going to go seek help for like

mental health reasons. And I think that's also why Brittany came over there and was subjecting

herself to being in his presence when he's in such a state because she wanted him to be honest
