So here's the court schedule as far as I know. Court is dark tomorrow. We got the day off.

And on Monday, the defense has one last witness to call and then they are expected to rest.

Then we'll get into rebuttal. I've heard the state has two witnesses, then jury instructions,

closings, and then we wait. The only witness after lunch was Tanner's grandmother.

And before I jump into her testimony, I have to say my opinion is how shameful of this

defense to put her on that stand, she has MS, she is on disability for her medical

condition.

And in the first part of her testimony had her recount her childhood trauma, which was severe and horrible.

It has nothing to do with why we're here, nothing to do with Tanner.

And it clearly did not affect how she tried her hardest to raise Tanner in a loving home.

To me, all that was is a ploy to get one juror to feel so sorry for her

and her whole life experience.

Maybe they don't put her through the stress of sentencing Tanner to death.

Grandma seems like a very good person. She tried her hardest with Tanner. And while a lot of times

it seems like all the defense witnesses have tried to make his grandfather out to be this big

villain, sounds to me like he just wanted Tanner to behave. And even if you have a kid

on the spectrum, they need rules. They need discipline just like a kid that's not on the spectrum.

What Tanner has laid in her lap with his decision to kill this innocent seven-year-old girl
