Still Wednesday, April 29th, and we're going to jump into the afternoon recap for the Tanner Horner penalty phase.

But one thing I learned, the woman on the stand this morning who enraged me in 10 different ways,

was the defense's key witness and she was paid $100,000.

Now, Rebecca Lopez from WFAA is in the courtroom and said one juror was rolling his eyes when she was

testifying and the other jurors were just looking at her like, what?

She also noticed a couple of the jurors were struggling to stay awake.

Definitely not what you want to see the jury doing when you've paid your star witness that

much and she spurred in some of the stupidest stuff I've

ever heard come from an expert witness in my life. Lord have mercy, y'all. After lunch was a friend

of Tanner's from jail. He said people will take advantage of Tanner in prison, and he has given him

advice on how to acclimate to what will be his forever home.

They talk about everything from news to politics and they also have Bible study.

He said Tanner will pace the floor very early in the morning and he tries to divert his attention.

And he says, y'all don't see what I see.

His heads down.

He's anxious.

I tell him to pick his head up.
