We are going to jump right into the morning testimony recap in the penalty phase for Tanner

Horner. We are on day 12. I've heard some fluctuating dates about when closings are expected.

I had heard May 8th, but then I heard April 30th today. So let's hope it's April 30th. I'm ready

for this to be over with ready for

justice for Athena and I think you guys probably could agree with me on that we

started the day off with more people that knew Tanner when he was in school never

mind the fact he was in his 30s when he committed this crime but this was someone

who helped Tanner in high school. She echoed the same

thing the previous witnesses have said, which his mom really wasn't around, and his grandparents

were the main ones that she dealt with. One thing that changed in Tanner's record from middle

to high school is there was nothing listed in high school about emotional disturbances like he

had on it before. He got in a little trouble in high school.

She thinks his emotions would affect his ability to reason, and she saw him at his worst maybe once or twice.

He also had two fights or what they call mutual combat. On cross, your teachings will eventually go away as the student grows up and they become adults and

responsible for their own actions. The school can't be responsible when he's 30. No. The next witness
