We're going to jump right back into the rest of Tanner's mom's testimony.

She said as a kid, Tanner would have

meltdowns often and it would become violent where he would punch himself in the head really hard.

She thought it was frustration with not being able to communicate and he would just direct the

physical anger to himself, but never against anyone else. I mean, I don't care about any of this

stuff, but let's keep going.

She said he was bullied in school, which is when this hitting himself started.

She also says his grandfather would bully him, too.

When Tanner became a father, he called her once and asked her to come home.

She thinks he was scared of hurting the baby.

They show a video of Tanner's son, who was taking some of his first steps to Tanner.

And she said Tanner and Cassie lived behind the house in that nasty shack.

In 2022, Cassie and Tanner started having problems.

Tanner told his mom, she's spending my money faster that I can make it.

And he didn't feel like he could keep up with it all.

As far as the incident as what they're calling Athena's murder, she understands Tanner's pleaded

guilty to kidnapping and killing her. She knows some of the facts surrounding the kidnapping and

the murder. She said she's so mad at him and she wants to tear his ass up. Then she says she was just a baby and she starts to sob.
