So today, we're talking with Rob Booker. How you doing today, Rob? I'm doing great. It's great to be here. Thank you so much.

Yeah, well, glad to have you on the show. I know one of the areas that we get a ton of questions from listeners

is about, you know, currencies, trading currencies. I know the stock market's kind of been on fire a lot,

and we'll talk a little bit about that, but I think the currency market is something that every once in a while you hear these

great stories. So I wanted to really kind of bring you on to kind of talk about those.

So maybe you could talk a little bit about your background, like how you get started in investing.

That's great. I'd love talking about currencies. And it's been a while since anyone asked me

about it. So that's exciting for me to get a chance to talk about it. I got started 21 years ago.

I had started a business with a college friend of mine.

And as all new businesses are prone to do, we did a great job at some things,

at a terrible job at others.

And that business failed and my business partner actually left the country.

And during the time that I had

been in law school, I had been fascinated by the stock market. I was in law school in the San Francisco

Bay Area in the mid-1990s. So I sat at Montgomery Securities at an internship while Netscape was going

public and the dot-com stocks were just sort of just starting their run.

And I caught the bug, but there wasn't really anything that I could do about it.

I was in law school.

I really thought I was going to be a lawyer.

I can't believe I finished law school.
