| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to the JordanSci mini podcast. Thank you so much for listening. In this episode, I speak with Danielle and she asks two really good questions. |
| 0:09.0 | The first one being whether or not you should schedule in refeeds or higher calorie days into your calorie deficit and if you should, how often and when. |
| 0:19.0 | The second question being whether or not you should have a limit on exercise during your calorie deficit and or if you should recalculate your calorie deficit as you go along. |
| 0:29.0 | Danielle, thank you so much for coming on. I hope you enjoy the episode. If you do, please leave a five star review. They help a lot. So thank you to huge thank you to everyone who's done that already. If you have any questions, let me know. Talk to you soon. |
| 0:40.0 | Alright, Danielle. So now we have to pretend like we didn't just say hi before we started recording. |

| 0:48.0 | Thank you for coming on. I really appreciate it. |
| 0:50.0 | It's my pleasure, honestly. |
| 0:53.0 | So do me a favor just give me some context. Tell me about yourself. I know you said you're from Australia, but just give me some context and we'll just jump right into discussion. |
| 1:03.0 | Awesome. So I'm 29. I'm from Australia. I'm a registered nurse and I'm now back at unifil time. I'm studying medicine to become a doctor. So my uni is quite demanding. |
| 1:18.0 | What kind of doctor? I don't know yet. Even though I've been a nurse for a few years now, I think I still need a bit more exposure as to what I would enjoy and what will sit me best. |
| 1:33.0 | So I'm not sure yet, but I love that. I've got many, many years of training. Yeah, many years of training coming up. So I'll figure it out. |
| 1:42.0 | I also used to be a professional dancer. So I, I guess I've had ups and downs with my body and with exercise and with food, especially when I stopped dancing and I started studying. |
| 2:02.0 | That was like a really hard transition for me, obviously. And so my weight has fluctuated quite dramatically. |
| 2:13.0 | And yeah, in the last 12 months, I felt like I finally kind of got on top of figuring out what works best for me. |
| 2:23.0 | And I think if anything, just feeling happy within my body. And yeah, so that's the kind of low down on who I am. |
| 2:32.0 | I love it. Thank you. So I know you had some questions you wanted to go over and some things you wanted to discuss. So whatever you want to talk about, I'm happy to discuss. |
| 2:41.0 | Groovy. Cool. Well, I, I'll give you a bit more context about kind of, I guess the journey I've been on the last 12 to 18 months. |
| 2:52.0 | That would be amazing. Please. |
| 2:54.0 | Well, well, as I said, like I've had a couple of lifestyle changes. |
| 2:59.0 | I've gone from being professional dancer, like not actually exercising at the gym, but being incredibly physically active, you know, six, seven days a week. |
| 3:09.0 | And I was doing that from when I was a kid, basically, and not really having to think about food or certainly not being educated around food choices and chloric intake, anything like that. |
