Hello and welcome back to Sochiology 101, where we're continuing to travel through a commentary produced by Ligonier Ministries from R.C. Spruill, who is not doing much of an expository exposition of

Romans 9, as we've already pointed out in the first three episodes. And obviously, I'm long-winded,

so we take a long time to go through these things. But I am trying to, as I've said before,

to represent Calvinism with their best proponents of the view. In other words, I want to try to find the most

influential, most respected kinds of Calvinists in order to have them represent themselves. What better

way to allow what Calvinist to represent himself, but to allow them to speak for himself, to look at

their commentaries for themselves. And so I encourage you to do the same, show the same kind of respect for somebody,

even though you don't agree with them, to look at their own words,

try to understand where they're coming from, don't straw man them,

but try to truly see where they're coming from when you're answering their particular perspective.
