We commence by praising Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sending blessings and salutations upon Muhammad

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam and all his companions, may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bless his entire household

and may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bless every single one of us and grant us every form of goodness.

Beloved brothers and sisters in Islam, we heard yesterday about the victory of Makkah and how the

Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam forgave all of those who had committed murder and all of those

who had committed grave crimes, those who had been fighting the Muslims for many many years

and how he had asked them the question, what do you think I'm going to do to you today?

And perhaps a lot of things crossed their minds but they had hope and they knew this man was a very

very honored man, honorable man and this is when he says, you can go for all of you are free,

no retribution today, I tell you what the Prophet Yusuf Ali, his salam told his brothers,

la ta three ba'alaikumu liyaum, there will be no retribution recompense revenge on this

particular day, we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to grant us a lesson, many of us cannot do that

with our own family members, many of us cannot do that with our brothers and sisters,

our relatives, uncles and aunts or community members, may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant us goodness

and help us resolve our internal matters, I mean, the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam after

having destroyed all the idols, then got bilalib nurabah, radiallahu anhu to climb on top of the

Kaaba and to call the Adhan, as he called the Adhan, some of the mushiriks of Makkah who were there,

they began to comment, look at this man, he was a slave yesterday and here he is, look at the

type of honor that this Muhammad, salallahu alayhi wa sallam has granted him and the Prophet

salallahu alayhi wa sallam thereafter, addressed the people, he gave them a powerful lecture,

the main message was that all people are equal, there is no virtue of any color or race,
